Never DIY Electrical Work
All electrical work in Australia must be done by a licensed electrician. DIY electrical work is:

What You CAN Do
- Change light globes
- Reset tripped circuit breakers
- Replace plug fuses (older appliances)
- Test safety switches monthly
Safety Switch Testing
Test your safety switch (RCD) monthly:
- Press the "Test" or "T" button
- The switch should trip immediately
- Reset by switching it back on
- If it doesn't trip, call an electrician
