Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Tradies Nation ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
Tradies Nation is operated under ABN 50 511 946 876.
What We Do
Tradies Nation is a platform that connects customers seeking trade services with independent tradies. We:
- Provide a directory of trade services by location
- Facilitate initial contact between customers and tradies
- Verify tradie licenses, insurance, and references
- Provide tools and resources for tradies and customers
What We Don't Do
We do not:
- Employ tradies or act as their employer
- Supervise, direct, or control tradies' work
- Guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work
- Set pricing for jobs (tradies set their own prices)
- Provide warranties on work performed
- Mediate disputes (though we may assist where appropriate)
For Customers
Using the Platform
When you submit a job request:
- You provide accurate contact information and job details
- We share your details with relevant tradies in our network
- Tradies may contact you directly to discuss your job
- You deal directly with the tradie from that point
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Verifying any tradie's credentials to your own satisfaction
- Agreeing terms, pricing, and scope with the tradie directly
- Getting appropriate written quotes and contracts
- Paying the tradie as agreed between you
- Raising any issues directly with the tradie
No Guarantees
We verify that tradies hold valid licenses and insurance at the time they join our network. However, we cannot guarantee:
- Quality of workmanship
- Timeliness of work
- Pricing or value for money
- That licenses and insurance remain current
- Availability of tradies in all areas
